We flew in as a group for envision to Dallas Texas. Due to only having a little free time, we went straight out to explore Dallas. We went to uptown to the Happiest hour. Were we where able to see the sky line and enjoy the very hot and humid weather.
The next morning we set out to explore Dallas. There wasn’t much on our list to do, but we figured out transportation to go to Downtown Dallas. We started at Klyde Warren Park were we where able to enjoy food trucks. I had amazing tacos that were fantastic. We then explored the park which had a nice play area for kids, games, and reading books to enjoy. We then started walking to Pioneer Plaza were there are 50 lifesize bull statues running down a hill. It is stunning to see. On our way to the 0laza, we beat the heat by stopping at the art museum which was also free. We went back to campus and then went to a Louisiana style restaurant/pub for food and entertainment in the art district to top off our day.
Following our travel, started our 6 day work week with the middle school students. I am an advisor and provide the curriculum for the students over STEM topics. We also enjoyed the Perot Museum and the Nature center.
