July 4th

Today is America’s birthday. I would love to be home with my family, but today I enjoyed a beautiful national park,Yosemite, located 3 hours from An Francisco. It was absolutely breathtaking with the waterfalls, Sequoias, and red wood forests surrounding the breath taking overlooks. It’s crazy to think that my country contains such beauty to see. It was a great way to spend the holiday with the roof down I’m the national park. On our way home we enjoyed fireworks while driving in the sky.

Today we had a chill day. I woke up and went on a run around the small campus, enjoyed lunch and got ready for the baseball game. The game was at 7:15 at the AT and T Stadium. The digestive played the Rockies. It was cold, but the stadium was amazing. You could see the water over one side. The Dodgers won. Perks to the stadium are if you go to guest services you can get a certificate for your first baseball game and sign up as responsible driver for a free hot chocolate, coffee, or pop.  It was a good game and we took the transportation home.

Today was our day for adventuring through San Francisco. We got up and ate breakfast at 8 and then got on the train. We started by visiting the painted ladies which is in the opening of every Full House episode, and then finished off Full House by going to the actual Full House House at 1709 Broderick Street. We then went to the Golden Gate Bridge ro walk across. It was windy and kinda cold especially for July. We walked the whole way across and back. Each way took at least 40 minutes which is crazy long.  We checked out Ghiradelli square got a free sample and I enjoyed a delicious shake with Ghiradelli chocolate l, banana and ice cream blended together.  Mmmm

Our final full day before work begins. I spent the day hanging around.  We left at 4:30 for Mountainview were we visited the Google campus, which was real neat. They have Google bikes to ride from building to building along with statues of the different updates for Android to enjoy. Thanks to Jackson and the visit of campus to deepen my longing for Google.  We then walked to the Shoreline Amphitheater were we enjoyed Chris Lang, Kelsea Ballerinni, and Rascal Flatts. It was a beautiful night and the music was amazing. I didn’t realize how much I knew of Rascale Flatts. They put on a great show. Now it is time for our final week with the kids, and then my mother comes for a visit, then heading home.
