Our time in Laufen was filled with great food, games, and family time.
Today was Janine’s moms birthday. Family came to visit and we ate, enjoyed company, and played games.
Today we slept in, and caught up on much needed sleep. We slept till our alarm went off at 11:30. We then went to see the horse at the stable and Ellie rode the horse around the pin. That evening we enjoyed paint ball, which I would say is not my best sport. We then went to Janine’s brothers house for supper and more games.
Today we got up to venture into the Alps of Austria. We hiked up to see the world’s largest ice cave , Einrenwestein. Once we hiked up the mountain to the entrance, we then had 1400 stairs to trek up and down to see the inside of the cave. It was quite interesting and cold of course.
Today the whole family went to a lake in the Alps near Hitler’s Eagle Nest. It was very pretty with clear water and waterfalls. We got in a boat and had time to walk the trails and see what nature had to offer. It was a day filled with great views and time in the sun. This is our final day in Germany and tomorrow we will head to Vienna.
